Edgar Rumney (born 15 September 1936) is an English former professional footballer who played for Colchester United.
Born in Abberton in Essex, Rumney signed for Colchester in 1957, having been an apprentice at the club.[1] A full back, he made his debut against QPR on 2 September 1957, and went on to make 49 appearances for the club,[2] before leaving to join Sudbury Town as player-coach in 1964.[1]
